VALUATIONS AND YOU CRITICIZE OF THE WORK
Joan Escudé has managed to unite the world of the abstract thing - the ideas - with the world of the concrete thing - the matter-; obtaining a "organic" work that provokes not only the pleasure of looking at at her but the need to caress her.
Joan Escudé is consolidating an alternative route of personal creation across the geometric formal experimentation combined with the contrast of properties of the different materials that he uses.
In the process of creation we cannot forget her works of the 80, influence of her stay in New York, her sculptures pass of being aesthetic objects to sensual, her abstract forms realized in different types of marble are done to bring the spectator over to the reality of the sculpture.
